The Voice Season 1 Episode 1
The Voice Season 1 Episode 1. The Idol series and The X Factor show finally found a competent opponent and that is the newly designed Dutch television talent show series, The Voice. The upcoming American reality television singing competition is scheduled to be premiered on April 26, 2011 on the television network NBC. This show will lead the contestants to be more competent against one another as they battle to be the best singer. The contestants who would showcase their diverse talents are mostly pop singers who were drawn from public auditions. The Voice, which has been described by an NBC network executive as “a search by relevant artists for relevant artists”, is a newly created show and a part of The Voicefranchise and is based on a similar competition format as that of Netherlands very own show, The Voice of Holland.
The show will be hosted by carson daly, and Alison Haislip will be the backstage and social networking correspondent. The winner of the show will receive a big sum of money that is amounting to $100,000 and added to this is the privilege to have a record deal with Universal Republic, Christina Aguilera, Cee Lo Green, Adam Levine, and Blake Shelton will serve as coaches.
The series consist of three phases which would include a blind audition, a battle phase, and live performance shows. There would be four famous musicians who would be the judges or coaches that will choose teams of contestants through the blind audition process. The chosen team of singers will be mentored and developed by their coach.
In the second stage, the coaches will have two of their team members battle against one another by letting them sing the same song. The coach will be the one to choose which team member will advance to the next stage.
Lastly, in the third phase, the remaining contestants will compete against each other live. The television audience will participate in deciding who among the singers will move forward. One team member will be left to compete for each coach, and these members will face one another in a more intense battle in the finale of the show.
In the show’s Season 1 Episode 1, Blind Auditions, Part 1: The judges hear and pick eight vocalists to train for the next stage.
